If Republicans are going to run the show, how do we know that they will do a better job? Inflation in the U.S. is running at 8.5 percent, which is high. Right now, the most liberal Democrats advocate for policies similar to liberal democracies like Canada or France. Inflation in these countries is running at 6.9 and 5.6 percent, respectively. Australia and New Zealand, also more liberal than the U.S., both have inflation rates of 7.3 percent. It sure seems like liberal policies lead to lower inflation.
