Demolition of the Warren McDonald’s began in July and the brand-new building featuring a two-lane drive-through was up and open for business about 100 days later.
With the pandemic moving aside as the major national story of the year, inflation took its place.
On March 5, the Times Observer published a story when the statewide average price of unleaded gasoline went up 13 cents to just over $4 per gallon.
That price was $1.05 higher than the price one year earlier.
But, despite inflation rates of over 7 percent, there were several positive steps taken in Warren County’s business community.
