The Nebraska City Economic Growth Fund has funded four grants and two loans in fiscal year 2021-2022, according to a report presented to the Nebraska City City Council during the July 18 council meeting.
Dan Mauk , who administers the growth fund program through the Nebraska City Area Economic Development Corp., said that grants were provided for the downtown flower basket and bumpout beautification programs, the Nebraska City Museum Association to provide free museum admission for Nebraska City residents, and Hypercolor LLC to assist with expenses related to the movie, “The Snack Shack,” will will be filming in and around Nebraska City through early September.
