Decapitation photos make way to business’ email: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio

Suspicion: Mayfield Road

A manager at Mr. Tire reported Feb. 25 that the store’s email account had received multiple emails with graphic images attached to them. He said the pictures displayed decapitated heads, a bloodied toddler and other grotesque images.

It was believed the messages were spam. The incident was documented.

Vandalism: Mayfield Road

A woman said March 2 that someone had poured ketchup onto her vehicle while it was parked overnight at the Gates Mills Place apartments.

Disturbance: Mayfield Road

Officers responded to Walmart March 1 regarding a report of a woman who was irate and threatening people for unknown reasons. Responding officers located the woman and arranged for her to be taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

Vandalism: Lander Road
