PARKERSBURG — The community is invited to attend a joint ribbon cutting and open house Tuesday, April 12, at the new offices of the Wood County Economic Development and Downtown PKB, Parkersburg’s Main Street organization.
The event will be held from 3-5 p.m. at 610 Market Street, Parkersburg (above Chams Lebanese Cuisine). A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 3:15 p.m.
People can come and see what the organizations have been up to, tour the new space, and connect with staff.
There will be light refreshments to enjoy from the Cocktail Bar.
Downtown PKB promotes downtown Parkersburg, fosters economic opportunity and creates community vitality. The goal is to create a vibrant commercial district that will provide downtown businesses, workers and nearby residents with the goods and services they need, as well as create educational, entertainment and tourism opportunities.
