Southwest Airlines said that it’s in the process of “aggressively hiring” in order to ramp up operations.
The carrier said that it had a goal of hiring approximately 5,000 employees by the end of 2021.
Southwest is now trying to focus on ramping up its schedule, and in order to do so, it will need more staff.
Natural gas
The U.S. could see a mild winter for most Americans.
Potentially, this could ease natural gas shortfalls that have driven prices near record highs and spurred demand for coal around the globe.
