A global business expert and an economist will speak at the Solano Economic Development Corporation’s Annual Meeting Breakfast, set for 8 a.m. April 29 at Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield.
Robert Hess is an industry leader in corporate location strategy and site selection. He will give the keynote speech at the gathering, which will discuss opportunities to grow Solano County’s economy, business sectors and talent pipeline.
As vice chairman of a $2.2 billion dollar company, he serves in Newmark’s Global Corporate Services division, leading more than 1,000 staff focused on global business and real estate. He has conducted more than 275 successful projects in North America and globally, including mega-facilities in Asia, Europe and Mexico, and will share his insights on incentives and other key factors for attracting business to Solano.
