GRAND RAPIDS, MI — The Grand Rapids Chamber has named Attah Obande as vice president of business and talent development.
In his new role, Obande will oversee the chamber’s talent development, inclusion and business services teams and programs.
“I am eager to put my experiences to practice with the Grand Rapids Chamber,” Attah said. “I look forward to serving the West Michigan business community as we position our members for success and growth.”
Before joining the chamber, Attah worked at SpringGR, an entrepreneur development program. He was born and raised in Nigeria, and he lived in London for four years before moving to Grand Rapids at age 18 to attend Calvin College. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Calvin in graphic design and business administration and master’s degree in business administration from Cornerstone University, according to the Chamber.
