Greenberg Traurig taps Dan Baker

Real estate attorney Dan Baker has joined Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm with offices on Long Island.

Baker is a shareholder at the firm, serving in its Garden City location. Along with David “Rooney” Gilmartin, Jr., who works out of Greenberg Traurig ‘s Bridgehampton’s office, Baker will co-chair the firm’s Long Island Land Use practice.

Previously a partner at Certilman Balin, Baker brings expertise in land use and zoning, general real estate transactions, industrial development agency and municipal benefits, environmental matters, tax certiorari and condemnation, corporate law, and civil litigation.

To Greenberg Traurig Executive Chairman Richard Rosenbaum, bringing Baker to the firm serves as “the latest step in building on the dominance” of the team’s land use and real estate practices in the New York metropolitan area and “around the world.”
