Almighty Drinks founder Ben Lenart says his business would not have found success if he had not first failed.
When Ben Lenart started a cold-pressed juice company in Wellington, he quickly realised the business was doomed to fail.
The produce was top quality, but expensive. The location was excellent, but rent was higher than revenue. The juice was tasty, but it had a shelf life of three days.
Lenart quickly saw that his dream for a juice store in central Wellington was not financially viable.
But the lessons he took from this failure helped pave the way for success in his next business, Almighty Drinks, which now sells product in more than 1100 stores and supermarkets across New Zealand and Australia.
