Paul Junge is a conservative candidate on the August ballot seeking the Republican nomination for Michigan’s 8th Congressional District. He is one of three Republicans, including Matt Seely and Candice Miller, vying for the nomination.
The Aug. 2 GOP primary winner will face Congressman Dan Kildee, D-Flint, in the November general election.
Junge has a law degree and previously worked as a prosecutor. He also has media experience as a news anchor on Fox47.
In 2014, Junge worked on a Senate campaign in Michigan for Terri Lynn. This campaign led him to be an investigative counsel in Washington for Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa. Junge also worked for his family business maintaining military family housing prior to his time on Capitol Hill.
