MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — Encouraging public input has been the main emphasis of Main Street Morgantown’s economic vitality forums, and the third such event was held Wednesday evening at the Hotel Morgan.
And as seen at the other forums, Morgantown residents definitely want to know what areas can be addressed.
“I think tonight went very well — we came away with some good ideas and some actionable items that we can immediately start working on,” said Deputy Mayor Danielle Trumble, who chaired the forum. “I think that showing that the community as a whole is invested in improving our downtown and really working to figure out what people want to see and how we can make that happen, and how we can work together is just invaluable.”
