A fire that broke out Sunday at a business called Imports Parts Center shut down some traffic for several hours before it was extinguished by fire crews.
Around noon, the Medford Fire Department reported the blaze, which was captured in video and pictures on social media. Passers-by of the busy intersection of Pacific Highway and Central Avenue could see thick black smoke rising above an idea that contains numerous businesses. The department asked people to avoid the area while it worked to contain the fire.
