TOWN OF FREEDOM (NBC 26) — Authorities are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Dollar General in Freedom.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office said the robbery happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Dollar General store.
The sheriff’s office said an unknown adult, possibly male, entered the store wearing women’s clothing and a large winter coat. According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect demanded money from the clerk and then ran off.
The sheriff’s office said officers arrived on the scene within minutes and were able to track the path the suspect took while fleeing, but officers weren’t unable to find the suspect.
