Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in the robbery of a west Birmingham Dollar General.
West Precinct officers responded Tuesday to the store at 915 Third Ave. West on a report of a robbery.
Once on the scene, officers learned a Black male had entered the business with a gun and demanded money from a store worker. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to call robbery detectives at 205-254-1753 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. Tips can also be submitted through the Birmingham Police Department’s mobile app.
